The tender comprises of the supply, delivery to site, installation and commissioning of 5 X 533kV Transmission Line sections on the existing Apollo/Songo HVDC line across the Limpopo-, Nuanetse- and Save Rivers respectively.
The line is a single circuit consisting of a single phase with quad bundle conductor and earthwire configuration and the construction will include pile foundations with pile caps and concrete flood protection for the lower legs.
This construction will be performed at specific positions at the crossing of the Limpopo-,Nuanetse- and Save River crossings. Due too the logistics, it would be required to have a site camp for the Limpopo- and Nuanetse River crossing and a separate site camp for the Save River Crossing.
